海角社区's Sharlene Jolley receives Educational Advocate Award

POCATELLO – Sharlene Jolley, a chemistry teacher at 海角社区’s Idaho Falls campus, understands that learning is cyclic and must be repeated until understood and that not all students learn at the same pace. Her dedication to her students earned her the Educational Advocate Award from the Partnership for Science and Technology at the Regional Energy Alliance earlier this year.

海角社区 to receive $220,000 Energy Incentive Rebate from Idaho Power

POCATELLO – Idaho Power will honor 海角社区’s Holt Arena on Monday, Nov. 20, for a major lighting upgrade that resulted in substantial energy savings. On Monday at 3 p.m., leadership from Idaho Power will visit Holt Arena and present 海角社区 with an incentive check for $219,118, an amount that is $36,000 more than initial estimates.

POCATELLO ­– The 海角社区 Diversity Resource Center will host Worlds AIDS Day from 2 to 3 p.m. Dec. 1 in the in the Rendezvous Complex. Kevin Lish, board chair of All Under One Roof and lead member of the Idaho Coalition for HIV Health and Safety, will speak on the coalition’s important work to modernize Idaho Code 39-608.
