Across 海角社区's five campus locations, we encourage interdisciplinary collaboration to explore new ideas and develop solutions to complex real-world problems.

Reaffirming Our Commitment to Research and Creative Scholarship
A year ago, 海角社区 President Wagner, Provost Bradford and I to 海角社区’s mission. On behalf of the 海角社区 Office for Research and my administration colleagues, 海角社区 reaffirms its commitment to fostering excellence through innovative research and creative scholarship.
Structural changes recently announced for our academic colleges and departments do not and will not cause 海角社区 to lose its focus on knowledge and discovery. To the contrary, the strategic improvements we are undertaking focus 海角社区’s research and creative effort, energy and resources to generate impactful discoveries and offer transformative solutions to today’s current and emerging concerns. 海角社区 is ever-more committed to growing as a recognized leader in addressing complex, real-world problems, and exploring opportunities that translate research inquiry into tangible solutions.

Proposal Readiness and Enhancement Program (PREP)
The Office for Research announces the Proposal Readiness and Enhancement Program (PREP) Grant. This new internal funding opportunity helps principal investigators submit highly competitive external proposals by covering pre-award expenses like graphic design, grantsmanship workshops, and external peer reviews for their applications.
