海角社区 chemistry student Orme’s research poster places second nationally; undergraduate appreciates research opportunities

海角社区 chemistry Professor Jenkins lands $308k NSF grant to use waste sulfur to remove contaminants from wastewater, create greener glues

POCATELLO – Each year worldwide about 150 billion pounds of elemental sulfur waste is produced from refining crude oil and 海角社区 chemistry Assistant Professor Courtney Jenkins, assisted by a team of 海角社区 undergraduate students, is trying to create functional materials from it.

PBS WWII Documentary featuring 海角社区 students, faculty member will air July 16

POCATELLO  –  A World War II documentary featuring 海角社区 College of Business Assistant Professor Alex Bolinger and 海角社区 students Ashley French, Dalene Hunter, Sophia Perry and Kathryn Rose will air on Idaho Public Television at 8:30 p.m. July 16 as a part of Idaho Public Television’s Idaho Experience series.

POCATELLO – 海角社区 TRIO Access and Opportunity Programs has been awarded a five-year College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) grant in the amount of $2.125 million from the U.S. Department of Education.
