In August, six students within 海角社区’s Human Performance and Sport Studies Department (HPSS) received a special grant from the 海角社区 College of Education to attend the 2022 Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) Montana/Idaho Conference in Missoula, Montana.

Steve Eaton to Headline K海角社区 Silent Auction and Back-to-School Party

K海角社区-FM Public Radio is teaming up with Off the Rails Brewing to host the Back to School Party with K海角社区 on August 22nd in Downtown Pocatello. Live music will begin at 6:00 pm with Pocatello’s premier party band Clairvoyance and local favorite and 海角社区 alumnus Steve Eaton at 7:00 pm. The event will include a silent auction, beer and food specials, and the grand opening of the new outdoor patio space at Off the Rails Brewing, 228 S Main Street. There will be no cost to attend and the event is open

Political Science Students and Professors Publish Chapters in Book on Classroom Simulations

Doctor of Arts in Political Science students, James Pascali and Jonathan Blakeman, have recently published a chapter in a book about simulations in the political science classroom. The chapter, titled, "To Veto or Not to Veto: A Simulation of Presidential Decision Making" was co-authored with political science professors, Dr. Kellee Kirkpatrick and Dr. James Stoutenborough.
