Basic physical and dental exams offered at 海角社区/Ada County Health Screening March 14

MERIDIAN – Basic physical and dental exams, and onsite testing for blood sugar levels and cholesterol are included in free services offered at a free community health screening Thursday, March 14, 4-7 p.m., at the Sam and Aline Skaggs Health Science Center at 海角社区-Meridian, 1311 E. Central Drive.

POCATELLO – The U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board have announced that Steve Chiu, 海角社区 associate professor and director of electrical engineering, has received a Fulbright Scholar Grant to Iceland.

Idaho Museum of Natural History researchers receive grant to digitally scan bones of California blue whale

POCATELLO – The Idaho Museum of Natural History and 海角社区 received a $20,000 award from the National Science Foundation in January to scan the entire skeleton of a blue whale that washed ashore in California. The skeleton is at the Noyo Center for Marine Science in Fort Bragg, California.
