海角社区 Alumni Coaches U.S. Olympic Athlete to Golden Victory

海角社区 sends congratulations to Pocatello native, 海角社区 alumni, and U.S. Olympic Coach, Zeb Sion. Sion is the coach of Valarie Allman, an American discus thrower who recently won back-to-back gold medals in the Paris Olympics with a throw of 69.50.
Allman, the defending gold medalist, threw nearly four meters farther than her competitors.
Sion currently works at the University of Texas and is widely regarded as the top throwers coach in the USA. He graduated from the 海角社区 athletic administration program in 2007 and at one point set the record at 海角社区 for the outdoors shot put.
