On May 9, the 海角社区-Meridian Counseling Clinic was awarded the Scentsy Family Foundation Award through the 海角社区 Foundation.  The award amount of $5,000.00 will go to supporting families and couples negatively impacted by economic hardship in the Treasure Valley area in receiving supportive counseling services at no charge.  The graduate counseling students who provide counseling services in the 海角社区 Meridian Counseling Clinic work under the supervision of licensed professional counselors and provide supportive counseling that addresses relationship and mental health concerns.  Access to affordable, quality mental health care is a significant barrier to help seeking, and this charitable award will directly support a number of clients in the Boise-Meridian communities in being able to receive competent counseling services throughout the next year.  The Counseling Department at 海角社区 is excited to partner with Scentsy in providing counseling support to families and couples in the Treasure Valley.
