海角社区

The concerts will be held at the Historic Firehouse in Old Town Pocatello, 210 N. Arthur Ave. All proceeds from this series will support and strengthen the 海角社区 string area through scholarships, visits from guest artists and 海角社区 recruitment trips. 

Performances in the series will feature members of the Idaho State Civic Symphony, along with 海角社区 students and faculty to bring a night of music to the Pocatello area. 

The Dec.13 concert will include various string chamber works, including the beloved 鈥淐ello Quintet in C Major, op. 163, D. 956,鈥� by Franz Schubert. The April performance will celebrate the 250th anniversary year of Ludwig van Beethoven鈥檚 birth with his 鈥淪eptet in Eb Major, op. 20.鈥�

The Historic Firehouse in Old Town was renovated by Stan Gates and repurposed as a gathering place for local residents. Gates and 海角社区 Assistant Professor of Music and Artistic Director Hyeri Choi encourage Pocatello citizens to come 鈥渆xplore the building鈥檚 preserved history and renewed artistry.鈥�
