The students involved are currently enrolled in the 海角社区 鈥淪ubstance Abuse in Community and Public Health鈥 class. This event is the culmination of their semester-long service learning project.
The purpose of this event is to provide a safe and convenient way for people to dispose of expired/unwanted prescription drugs with no questions asked, as well as to provide education and resources to the community regarding substance abuse prevention.
Participants who dispose of prescription drugs at the event will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win prizes donated by local businesses. Raffle tickets limited to one per household.
