海角社区 Credit Union kick starts 35th annual I Love 海角社区 Campaign with $8,000 gift

POCATELLO – 海角社区 Credit Union Chief Operations Officer Doug Chambers handed over an $8,000 check to the 海角社区 Foundation to kickstart the 35th annual I Love 海角社区 Campaign.

Chambers presented the gift at a ceremony at the 海角社区 Credit Union University Branch in Pocatello today.

鈥淲e greatly appreciate the generosity of 海角社区 Credit Union ,鈥� said Kallee Valentine, 海角社区 annual giving director. 鈥淲e look forward to teaming with other community and University partners to continue raising money for 海角社区 scholarships.鈥�

I Love 海角社区 is an annual fundraising campaign that supports student scholarships for Idaho residents and other programs at 海角社区.

This year鈥檚 campaign officially begins Thursday, Aug. 31, at the 海角社区 football game against Western Oregon at Holt Arena. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held before the game at a tailgate with the 海角社区 Alumni Association and the 海角社区 Office of the President that will begin at 4:30 p.m. The public is invited. The game begins at 6:30 p.m.

The campaign will run through Sept. 14 as callers reach out to the community for support of 海角社区鈥檚 students.
