海角社区’s Meg Long-Woodhouse to serve on Idaho Board of Dentistry

Idaho Gov. Butch Otter has appointed 海角社区 dental hygienist Meg Long-Woodhouse to a five-year term on the Idaho Board of Dentistry.

Meg Long-WoodhouseLong-Woodhouse, who has taught at 海角社区 since 1991, is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene. She is licensed to practice in Idaho and Oregon and is affiliated with the 海角社区 Pocatello Family Dental Residency and Idaho Advanced General Dentistry program.

A 1978 graduate of 海角社区鈥檚 dental hygiene program, she was honored in spring 2014 with an 海角社区 Alumni Professional Achievement Award, representing the Division of Health Sciences. Long-Woodhouse also serves on the board of the Pocatello Free Clinic.

The Idaho Board of Dentistry consists of five dentists, two registered dental hygienists and a consumer advocate familiar with health care professions. Their role is to help oversee the practice of dentistry and dental hygiene in Idaho.
