º£½ÇÉçÇø Distinguished Faculty nominations sought

Nominations are being sought for three º£½ÇÉçÇø faculty members to be recognized as Distinguished Faculty.
They will be honored during a reception in April and recognized during the 2015 Commencement exercises.
Nominations for the Distinguished Teacher and Distinguished Service are due Jan. 23. The Distinguished Researcher call for nominations will be announced by the Office for Research and Economic Development.
Distinguished Teacher Award – A faculty member is selected from the º£½ÇÉçÇø faculty who exemplifies excellence in teaching and has made significant contributions in teaching. You are invited to nominate a member of the faculty who, in your judgment, meets these standards. Nominees should be any member of the University faculty currently in his/her third or subsequent year of full-time service at º£½ÇÉçÇø and will continue as a faculty member for 2015-2016. Nominations are being sought from º£½ÇÉçÇøâ€™s faculty, staff, students and alumni.
Distinguished Service Award – A faculty member is selected from the º£½ÇÉçÇø faculty who has made significant contributions in service to the University and society. Please consider service attributes only. Elements such as research and teaching are not to be considered for this award. Nominees should be any member of the University faculty currently in his/her third or subsequent year of full-time service at º£½ÇÉçÇø and will continue as a faculty member for 2015-2016. Nominations are being sought from º£½ÇÉçÇøâ€™s faculty, administration and the public.
