• º£½ÇÉçÇø News Student March through the Arch: Begins at 5 p.m. at Reed Gym and finishes on the Hutchinson Quadrangle near the Swanson Arch. º£½ÇÉçÇø President Arthur Vailas, other º£½ÇÉçÇø officials, and the º£½ÇÉçÇø Marching Band will be gathered to welcome new students a day before the fall semester begins on Aug. 27. • º£½ÇÉçÇø Fall Semester Begins

• Welcome Back Orange and Black Celebration: º£½ÇÉçÇø students will have a chance to win a car and other great prizes, plus enjoy free food, music and a variety of booths and entertainment during the third annual "Welcome Back Orange and Black" from 4 to 7 p.m. in Old Town Pocatello. The prize drawing will be held at 6 p.m. Buses will bring students downtown leaving from Eighth Avenue/Cesar Chavez Way at the bus stop in front of the º£½ÇÉçÇø Student Health Center. The celebration will be held on Aug. 31 and it involves participation by national, regional, and online retailers representing more than 10,000 locations—all with the goal of increasing sales of collegiate merchandise.
