Author of ‘Grizzly Wars’ David Knibb to speak at 海角社区

David Knibb, author of 鈥淕rizzly Wars: The Public Fight Over the Great Bear,鈥� will speak at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, in the 海角社区 Pond Student Union, Salmon River Suite.
The free talk is open to the public.
A resident of the Seattle area, Knibb has a background in environmental law, forestry and wildlife management. An activist on resource conservation and environment issues in the Mountain West for some 45 years, he is also the author of 鈥淏ackyard Wilderness,鈥� a chronicle of the congressional battle over the Alpine Lakes Wilderness in Washington鈥檚 Cascades.
