海角社区 Jazz Festival slated Feb. 2-3

The 海角社区 band program will present the 海角社区 Jazz Festival 2007 on Feb. 2-3. The event features two concerts and all-day clinics for regional high school bands.
The Jeff Hamilton Trio will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, in the Joseph C. and Cheryl H. Jensen Grand Concert Hall in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center. Admission for this concert is $10 for the general public, $5 for 海角社区 faculty and staff, $3 for precollege students and free for 海角社区 students.
The 海角社区 Jazz I Big Band, directed by Aric Schneller, will perform with Shelton Berg on piano and the band Vanguard at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall. Admission to this concert is $5 for the general public, $3 for 海角社区 faculty and staff, $2 for precollege students and free for 海角社区 students.
On Feb. 3 clinics will be held for regional high school jazz bands from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
