Global warming topic of lecture April 23

The Idaho Museum of Natural History will host a lecture titled 鈥淕lobal Warming: Natural and Anthropogenic Factors in Current Climate Change鈥 on April 23 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Room 204.

Martin Hackworth, senior lecturer in physics at 海角社区, will offer a scientific view of both natural and manmade factors that influence climate, and the evidence for anthropogenic climate change. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Hackworth has been a senior lecturer at 海角社区 since 1992. He teaches astronomy, engineering physics, weather and climate, and optics.

Hackworth鈥檚 talk is sponsored by IMNH, Portneuf Valley Audubon Society and 海角社区 Student Action Volunteers for the Environment as part of Pocatello鈥檚 Earth Week celebration. The celebration will feature a series of events to raise environmental awareness.
