Physics Department to host haunted laboratory Oct. 28

The 海角社区 Department of Physics and the 海角社区 Society of Physics Students will host a Haunted Laboratory exhibit from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 28 in the 海角社区 Pond Student Union Building Ballroom. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

The Haunted Laboratory is a portion of the annual Halloween Carnival sponsored by the 海角社区 Program Board. It will feature interactive exhibits designed to delight, fright and educate children.

Exhibits include:

鈥    鈥淭he Disembodied Head鈥

鈥    鈥淧eppers Ghost鈥

鈥    A Van deGraaf generator

鈥    Tesla coils

鈥    Lasers moving to music

鈥    Illusions with smoke and mirrors

Several of the exhibits use the same principles as Disneyland鈥檚 Haunted Mansion.
