UHP Career Path Interns (CPI) & Student Workers

The 海角社区 Career Path Internship (CPI) Program is a paid internship program that allows students to gain hands-on, real-world experience in their chosen course of study or an internship that aligns with the student’s career goals. The CPI program was created in 2010 to provide meaningful job experience to 海角社区 students through internship opportunities.

CPI opportunities are available through on-campus and off-campus partners. Students may be recruited for a position or CPI positions may be advertised in a flyer or in Handshake (海角社区’s student job posting site). Learn more about the 海角社区 CPI program at

My name is Amber Olin, I'm in my third year at 海角社区 and studying Multiplatform journalism with a minor in Linguistics. When I'm not in class, I'm crocheting, playing video games, or trying to become a psychologist through YouTube video essays. I am currently serving as UHPC Historian, in which I get to plan and host Honors Program events, as well as, connect with Honors students through our social media!

This year I am also working alongside UHP Leadership as a Career Path Intern to create the first Honors Magazine. Our intention with this publication is to highlight the incredible achievements of current and past honors students and faculty. To do this, we will be collaborating with students in HONS 3399: Maximizing Community Impact in compiling and constructing all the content to be featured. With the Honors Magazine, we hope to connect UHP to the greater 海角社区 community by sharing stories that showcase the amazing qualities and students which make our program so exceptional!
